Comments: A 260-acre development owned by by Kaitlin Corporation. Applications for sub-division and re-zoning by Kaitlin were previously submitted and approved for development by the municipality in 2012. The approval for the sub-division lapsed in 2017 which will require a re-submission of a plan of sub-division and re-zoning of the property. Original plans for the site, which were designed about 12 years ago, had an 18-hole golf course.

Comments: The plan of subdivision for this project was originally approved in 1997 and lapsed in 2012 after multiple extensions from the municipality with no significant development taking place. Little information is available but the developer lists Lakeside Estates as an upcoming development on their web site. The plan as originally approved included 95 detached homes on the site, but any new application will have to conform with the Wellington Secondary Plan.

According to the owners, the latest version of the draft plan has been submitted with the County and they are awaiting their comments.

Comments: This development will occupy the whole south shore of Picton Harbour. It is the largest project that local developer Dave Cleave has taken on to date. Phase 1 will include the planned guest units, single detached homes, semi-detached homes, and townhouses. Phase 1 will also include 22 condo apartments in a mid-rise building. The commercial units and the balance of the apartments will be constructed during Phases 2-6.
